Create a safer outdoor living space with Gripsure non-slip decking

Say goodbye to slippery decking and enjoy your garden all year round

With outdoor living tipped to be one of 2017’s key home and garden trends, fitting non-slip decking means you can make the most of your garden all year round.

Gripsure non-slip decking is the perfect way to achieve a contemporary timber decked area, which stays safe even when it is wet or icy underfoot.

Unlike traditional decking, which can become dangerously slippery Gripsure’s unique timber boards have innovative anti-slip inserts, to keep you on your feet – whatever the weather.

Each park was subjected to an independent wildlife audit commissioned by Professor Bellamy, and judged to be making exceptional achievements in helping to safeguard the natural world.

Forest Holidays backs campaign to protect Barn Owls

Forest Holidays backs campaign to protect Barn Owls

Forest Holidays are pleased to announce that they are backing a campaign to protect barn owls with The Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust by sponsoring their barn owl adoption packs.

The decline of barn owls is of national importance with low numbers of these majestic creatures being reported nationally. It is of the utmost importance that these numbers start increasing immediately - and Forest Holidays hopes to contribute to these efforts.

The loss of traditional nest sites, through barns falling into disrepair or being converted, makes it difficult for barn owls to establish a breeding courtship. Additionally, the decline of rough grassland habitat, increases the pressure on adult birds to find enough food to feed hungry young broods.
