CAMPERS are in a state of shock after spotting Queen Elizabeth enjoying a caravan holiday in the United Kingdom. The monarch was spotted by eagle-eyed holidaymakers, who were stunned to see her reversing her Coachman Kimberley into a pitch at Swingate Farm, in the East Midlands. Her Majesty was later filmed flipping burgers on a barbecue and filming a TikTok dance, clearly enjoying a few days of quiet convalescence ahead of her hectic Platinum Jubilee schedule. Joined by her corgi companion, Queen Lizzie enjoyed exploring the campsite’s grounds and petting the ponies in the stables. Fran Prince, who spotted the Queen while reading a book outside her caravan, said: “At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes – it’s not every day you see royalty lowering the van legs and setting her awning out. Her Majesty even taught us the royal wave! “It’s great to see her on such top form – if I can look half as good as she does when I get to her age, I’ll be delighted.” Her Royal Highness was pictured using the Coachman Kimberley, which can be found at nearby Kimberley – The Caravan & Motorhome People. Onlookers remarked that the monarch was spotted sipping on cocktails, polishing her caravan an hanging out her royal bloomers. Wearing a pair of perfect pink rubber gloves, Her Majesty was even pictured washing up her pots and pans. The Summer months are approaching and is a time when the season becomes very busy around caravan, camping and leisure parks. Demand for UK holiday accommodation continues to rise, as more people choose to remain in the UK despite the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. This demand has led many holiday parks to expand their sites or renovate existing holiday homes to attract more custom. We put the outlet in the same building as our fish & chip takeaway to provide guests and owners with both takeout options. The family pizza meal deals now work really well for guests to share, and they can order instore, ‘click and collect’ or have their meal delivered right to their accommodation via e-bikes! It’s real treat for all the family throughout the season. “As you would expect from a world-leading brand, the Papa John’s build team have been amazing to work with and the store has only taken around eight weeks to construct from start to finish. We collaborated with Papa John’s construction manager to realise our plan for both our fish & chip takeaway and the new fresh pizza offering to share the same delivery area. This meant we didn’t need a new building and ensured completion of the unit was a swift, smooth process. “The past year has been incredibly busy for Haven as the public have fallen back in love with the Great British seaside holiday.
